Local Authority Services

We undertake building regulations structural checking roles for local authorities, on a nationwide basis. We are “SER” (Structural Engineers Registration) approved enabling us to self certify our own structural engineering designs for compliance with the Building regulations in Scotland.

We offer a dangerous structures service to all local authorities within a 40 mile radius of Sheffield. An out of hours call out service can be accommodated if required.

Our scope here covers:

• Calculation and drawing checks to ensure compliance with building regulations.
• Liaison with the designer.
• Reporting to the Local Authority.
• Rapid response offered
